Many thanks to those of you who helped to make the Greene Reunion of 2008 a success! Guests came from across the country and from England as well as from Washington County. We truly appreciate your enthusiasm for the history of the Greene family and of our pioneer ancestors who arrived in Washington County, Ohio, over two centuries ago. We hope to keep alive the fantastic story of this pioneer family and that each of you will add your own story to pass along to your descendants. It is indeed a fitting tribute to our ancestors that all of you took the time to travel and celebrate. I imagine those at the 1908 reunion wondered if the tradition would be continued. Many thanks to the folks of Newport for their warmth, enthusiasm, and amazing hospitality. You will be forever in our hearts!
