DR. WILLIAM WARREN, M. D. Physician and Surgeon, Dr. William Warren was the son of Dr. Leonard E. and Mary Whiston Warren. He was born in the Yankeeburg neighborhood of Marietta Township on August 8, 1868. He graduated from Columbus Medical College on April 4, 1889 and began his practice in Newport where he continued until his death. He was a member of the Washington County Medical Society and the Ohio Medical Society. Dr. Warren’s office was on Greene Street where Kathleen Keylor lives [1993]. Dr. Warren married twice: first to Mary Garber, second to Ethel Hammond. He had five children: Fred Garger Warren, born July 3, 1892 died November 1, 1949, William Warren who lived in Greenville, Pennsylvania and died in 1959, and three children who died in infancy.
