James Brown Greene House

This house was built by Richard Greene in about 1833.  The house is genearally known as the James Brown Greene house, named for Richard's son.

Ann is the great-granddaughter of James Brown Greene.  Her grandmother, Jennie Greene Torner, grew up in this house and learned to cook on the stove that was located where the fireplace is in the first photo.
